The Maths Mum® “I am” Number 1-10 Flashcard Set is a set of 10 or 11 flashcards for each number with a visual front and back representing that number. For example, the “fiveness'“ of a the number five is represented by Numicon, blocks, 5p, £5, 5 o’clock, high five, five on a mobile… all the ways that you can see ‘five’ in the world around us.
They make an excellent addition to home learning or they would be an amazing maths aid for a Pre-School , Reception or Year 1 Classroom.
They are specially designed for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage or children with learning difficulties to help understand what a number means. They can be used into Key Stage 1 to help with telling the o’clock and digital time as well as looking at money in coins and notes.
Each number from 1 to 10 is a set of 10 x A6 colour cards printed double sided on thick 400gsm silk card. Numbers 1, 2 and 5 have 11 x A6 cards. They are held together with a ringed clip carabiner with the ability to hook the associated Numicon tile to the cards. There are 103 A6 cards in total per set.
