The nasen Awards are held annually and are set on identifying those making a difference within the SEND sector. We are delighted that Karen McGuigan, the Founder of the Maths For Life programme, was shortlisted for Changemaker of the Year.
This award celebrates individuals who have made a significant and positive impact in promoting inclusiveness and equality. These individuals are true agents of change who have used their skills, passion and determination to drive forward positive change and break down barriers to inclusion. Whether through activism, advocacy, or the development of innovative solutions, these changemakers have made a real and lasting difference in creating a more inclusive world. The Changemaker of the Year award celebrates the courage, creativity, and impact of these individuals, who serve as an inspiration to others and demonstrate what is possible when we come together to drive forward positive change.
