POP THE CHAMPAGNE…

Today is officially my last day as a Practice Manager at the Dental Surgery! I found and trained my replacement and she’s now happy to go it alone. So from Monday 1st April I will be The Maths Mum on a full time basis. It is time to move from baby steps into the toddler phase. I am excited.

However I am still a Mum so ‘full time’ actually means during school and sleeping hours. But that’s what I wanted. My own business that allows me to do something I enjoy whilst still being able to maintain a work life balance and support the needs of my boys. Is it possible to have it all? I don’t know but I’m going to try.

So what does this mean for The Maths Mum - well hopefully more time to get stuff done, start marketing proactively and run more courses. I plan to spent some time looking at my business plan and sketching out my priorities for the coming months. It’s time to get some of those ideas into tangible actions.
